Two-row variety of middle-aged brewer’s spring barley is registered in the Register of varieties of Ukraine in 2008.
A variety of intensive types, characterized by increased bushiness, high and stable yields. It reacts well with the introduction of complete mineral fertilizers. To achieve the highest quality malt, it is recommended to sow after the root crops.
Medium-hedge varieties, growing season 87-95 days. Plant height 59-66 cm.
Weight 1000 grains 45,0-46,2 g. The seed rate is 4,0-4,5 million similar seed per hectare.
The average yield at the farm is 75.7 c / ha, potential yield is 90-100 c / ha.
The variety is characterized by high drought tolerance, resistance to shedding of crops and asbestos of grain in the ear. It is characterized by high resistance to helminthosporia and powdery mildew. Direction of use – Brewery.
The stable low protein content in the grains is 10.7-11.5%, the extractivity of the substances is 80-82%.
