«Agroprodservice» held the first festival of carols together with Nastasiv community
On the 19th of January, “Agroprodservice” together with Nastasiv Village Council have held the first festival of Christmas arts “Carol Unites Ukraine” devoted to the Epiphany Day and the Baptism holiday.
Nearly 20 performance groups and nativity scene performances from surrounding villages and communities together with village heads of Marianivka, Yosypivka, Butsniv, Velyka Luka, Myroliubivka, Luchka, Malyi Khodachkiv and other villages of Koziv district took part in the event. Before its beginning, participants and visitors prayed together for peace and calm in Ukraine.
“Carol is not just a song. Carol is a symbol of Ukrainian village, centuries-old traditions of Ukrainian nation, its spirit,” noticed Father Vasyl Bahlei during the prayer.
Nastasiv residents and its guests could watch the Christmas nativity scene performances, listen to the carols of performance groups which refreshed Ukrainian New Year customs for the whole evening, where all village gathers together in order to sing carols.
“I guess, we can say firmly that Nastasiv festival of carols was successful for 100% because the village was like revived. Almost 20 performance groups from surrounding villages participated in the event, and I’ve never seen so many nativity scene performances in one place before. I hope that guests and holiday participants are satisfied,” says Ivan Chaikivskyi, CEO of “Agroprodservice” company.
During the Carols festival visitors could taste hot meals from Ternopil Meat Processing Plant, make family photos and have a good rest.
